Addressing the Intersection of HIV & Intimate Partner Violence - Part 3


Description
This 3-part training is sponsored by the US Department of Housing & Urban Development and presented by the National Network to End Domestic Violence. The training will highlight lessons learned and key factors to consider in addressing the intersection of HIV and intimate partner violence (IPV), which includes domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Part 3 of this training series includes a peer discussion with representatives from HUD's Office of HIV/Housing and successful collaborations among domestic violence and HIV/AIDS service providers in three communities across the nation. The session includes a short description of the intersectionality challenges related to accessing housing and services for persons living with HIV who experience intimate partner violence.
